THE PROTOCOL
1 – A unique format: 29x29cm
2 – One painting per day,
3 – A single color to be poured (Salmon),
4 – The obligation to name the artwork at the end of the day in a foreign language.
SECOND CYCLE : THE BODY
The background color shifts toward a carnal tone, establishing a direct relationship with the body. In the isolation of the studio, the purity of the initial automatism collides with forming figures. The shapes grow heavier, become anatomized, and life surges upon the square’s surface. The reconciliation occurs in a hand-to-hand combat between the geometric order of the device and the chaos of inner forms, where the chemical rejection of lean over fat freezes the mutation of the figures.
